PTFE plate (PTFE) is commonly known as plastic king, F4, or Teflon. The suspended polytetrafluoroethylene resin is molded into plates, turning films and tubes. It can be pressed and pushed into shape. It can be mixed with graphite to make plates, rods, packing, ropes and raw material belts.

PTFE plate has a very wide range of temperatures, and is basically corrosion resistant to all chemicals except some fluoride and alkaline metal liquid. Excellent mechanical properties including anti-aging, especially for bending and swing applications. Excellent flame retardancy (in accordance with ASTM-D635 and D470 test procedures, it is rated as a flame retardant material in the air. Excellent insulation characteristics (regardless of its frequency and temperature), extremely low water absorption, and a series of special properties such as self lubrication and non adhesion.

PTFE plate (PTFE) has the following characteristics:

1. Non adhesive: almost all substances do not adhere to the PTFE film. The thin film also shows good non adhesion.

2. Heat resistance: PTFE film has excellent heat resistance and low temperature resistance characteristics. It can withstand high temperature up to 300 ℃ in a short time, and can be used continuously between 240 ℃ and 260 ℃ generally. It has remarkable thermal stability. It can work at freezing temperature without embrittlement and does not melt at high temperature.

3. Sliding property: PTFE film has low friction coefficient. The friction coefficient changes when the load slides, but the value is only between 0.05-0.15.

4. Humidity resistance: the surface of PTFE film is free from water and oil, and it is not easy to touch the solution during production operation. If there is a small amount of dirt, it can be removed by simple wiping. Short downtime, saving working hours and improving work efficiency.

5. Wear resistance: It has excellent wear resistance under high load. Under certain load, it has double advantages of wear resistance and non adhesion.

6. Corrosion resistance: polytetrafluoroethylene is almost not corroded by chemicals, and can withstand all strong acids (including aqua regia), strong oxidants, reducing agents and various organic solvents except molten alkali metals, fluoride media and sodium hydroxide above 300 ℃, which can protect parts from any kind of chemical corrosion

The mechanical properties of polytetrafluoroethylene can be greatly improved by adding any filler that can bear the sintering temperature of polytetrafluoroethylene. At the same time, it maintains other excellent properties of PTFE. The filling varieties include glass fiber, metal, metallized oxide, graphite, molybdenum disulfide, carbon fiber, polyimide, EKONOL, etc. The wear resistance and limit PV value can be increased by 1000 times.
