Pipe thread tape provides quick,clean,sealing for all pipe fittings, using on all applications including water,oil,chemical,medical,etc. Thicker pipe thread tape is stronger, so it has much better sealing performance than the thin tape. You only need to use 5-6 wraps of thicker tape, while thinner tape may need 7-8 wraps.
