Sintered Full Density PTFE Film

 

Sintered full density PTFE Film is produced by a process called sintering, which involves heating the PTFE powder to a high temperature and pressure to create a solid, dense material. This material is then heated again to a lower temperature to create small pores within the material. The size and distribution of the pores can be controlled during the sintering process, making it possible to produce PTFE film with specific properties tailored to specific applications.

 

Sintered Full Density PTFE Film tape has a specific gravity, or density, of 2.15 g/cm3, crystallinity of 50 to 70 percent, porosity of less that 1.0, matrix tensile strength of 20-30 Mpa and thermal conductivity of 0.2 Kcal/m-hr in degrees Celsius.

They can enhance its mechanical properties, particularly creep and wear rate.

They provide excellent properties of PTFE at low and high temperatures.
