Ptfe sealing cord can be used on both plastic and metal threads of almost all sizes and thread configuration, which makes it a really useful addition to a toolbox. That little metal part at the top of the container is actually a really handy little cutting implement. You should be careful about the cutting implement while handling, but it does give you an easy way to cut the cord once you’re done applying it to the thread.
