Pipe sealing cord is a new, faster, more versatile pipe sealant which out-dates traditional tapes and hemp/paste combinations. It instantly seals (irrespective of ambient temperature) domestic and industrial pipe systems during assembly. Can be safely and confidently used with drinking or waste water (hot or cold), gas, compressed air, and industrial oils. Supplied in a handy, pocket sized, protective container complete with built in cutter. It can be use for potable water.
It is popular item which selled in Europ market, it's same function goods like ptfe tape, but it has much longer length of 50-160m, also it is more flexiable to use especially for end User.
Also, we have several colors of bottles to pack it, such as black bottle, yellow bottle, green bottle and so on. For the length, we can make it from 80m-160m according to customers needs with your OEM brands.

How to apply it?
Clean the threads: Before applying the cord, thoroughly clean the pipe threads to remove debris and ensure proper adhesion.
Start at the end: Begin wrapping the cord at the very end of the male pipe threads.
Wrap in the thread direction: Wind the cord around the pipe threads following the same direction as the thread helix.
Cross-over pattern: Most commonly, apply the cord using a cross-over pattern, wrapping it diagonally across the threads.
Appropriate amount: Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the recommended number of wraps, ensuring the grooves are filled without completely obscuring the threads.
Cut the cord: Once the desired amount is wrapped, cut the cord with the integrated cutter on the packaging.
Assemble the connection: Screw the male pipe onto the female fitting, ensuring proper alignment.
Tighten securely: Tighten the connection following standard plumbing practices.
Tips for using it
Sealing effect inspection: Although there is no maintenance for the pipe sealing cord, the sealing effect is the key in sealing-related operations. For the parts sealed by the pipe sealing rope, it may be necessary to check whether there is leakage. If leakage is found, it may mean that the pipe sealing cord is worn, loose, or incompletely sealed.
Environmental factors: If there is a lot of dust and impurities in the use environment, it may affect the sealing performance of the pipe sealing rope. For example, in a dusty environment, dust may adhere to the surface of the pipe sealing rope, affecting its fit with the pipe fittings, so pay attention to the use environment and clean up the surrounding impurities in time.

Q: How to Use Pipe Thread Sealant for the Best Connection
A: To apply PTFE thread sealant tape sealant on a pipe, you wrap the male pipe in the direction of the thread tightly.
